Originally
Paula's artistic vision centered around Black & White
Landscape & Nature Photography and evolved to capturing the
beauty of Wildlife in action. As with any photographer,
her style expanded to include the photojournalistic fast paced
action of Surfing photography and the spontaneity of
photographing Blues Musicians on stage. Her ability to
combine the art of natural lighting and record the defining
moment on film launched her into Commercial & Wedding
Photography. Her education includes a
Masters of Science Degree in Counseling & Human Services, Florida
State University & Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Art Education, University West Florida .
She is a Licensed Mental Health
Counselor and has freelanced as a photographer for decades, a pursuit which
caught the attention of Popular Photography Magazine when it ran a story on her
in 1998.

| She was chosen by Popular Photography Magazine to travel with an elite
group to Puerto Rico to document it's people and place for a
special tribute magazine, Destination Puerto Rico 2000 |

| Her nature photographs have been
published in AUDUBON, BIRDER'S WORLD, POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY
and PETERSON'S
PHOTO GRAPHIC magazines

| For over ten years
she has been Official Photographer for "Springing the
Blues" Music Festival and published with THE
BLUES
REVUE (cover) , BLUES
ACCESS, and DOWNBEAT magazines as well
as promotions for individual Blues Musicians. |

|
Inter
national awards include the
Photographic Society of America, Ollie Fife Award for Photojournalism
Published Picture of The Year 1996 and Gold Metal in International Slide
Competition 1995. Second Place in Popular Photography's 9th,8th,and 6th
Annual International Picture Contests 2003,2002, and 2000.
